How it began
Kaffeina was founded by Jin and her husband — long-time Delaware Art Museum volunteers — born from Jin's deep passion for coffee and her experience in the Philadelphia coffee scene. With a vision centered on beautifully crafted food made with fresh ingredients, Kaffeina quickly became a beloved gathering spot for locals and museum visitors alike.

Coffee, curated with care
Inspiration for Kaffeina's specially curated drink menu came from coffee expert Jinsu Chang, who spent years studying the art of coffee and even designed and opened a cafe in Philadelphia. She brought that knowledge into every cup served at Kaffeina.

A new chapter
In 2024 Kaffeina began a new chapter under new ownership, fully committed to preserving the heart and soul that Jin and her husband so lovingly built. We honor their legacy by continuing the warm atmosphere, high-quality offerings, and community-focused spirit that defines Kaffeina, while introducing fresh ideas to enrich the experience for every guest.
